Yes, they have convicted Saddam in a "court" in Iraq of "crimes against humanity". Now they are planning to hang him sometime in January. If this was Dubya's October surprise, it isn't. The kangaroo court they established does not meet any of the international rules of justice, so I figure this was just another "smoke and mirrors" show just like the "democracy" in Iraq. Gee, I can think of a few people in Washington who might also qualify to be tried for crimes against humanity, except they have granted themselves immunity from prosecution by getting Congress to ignore past transgressions.

So much for abstinence for 19 to 29 year olds. It seems the asshats of the religious right have convinced someone in Washington to expand the abstinence programs to cover an older audience. Hey, the rant funds are going to the asshats who really believe this crap. So keep your raging hormones in check, because next they will be putting hidden cameras in the back seat of your car. Who are they kidding?

Oh, and I love this... It seems that Army recruiters have been caught on tape telling potential recruits that the "Iraq war is over", just to get the dumb, news challenged kids to sign up for the Army.  So much for quality recruits. If they are able to pull the wool over the eyes of potential recruits, I really fear the fact that these kids may be voting.
