screwed up...

I hate to say it but our country is seriously screwed up. We've lost our moral compass, and let evil rule the day. 

I will be out there protesting on the anniversary of this illegal war. 

I'm asking my Congressperson for an accounting. I want to know how many 'troops' are in Iraq, how many 'contractors/mercenaries', how many support persons are needed for each soldier, how many administrative staff, bottom line is how many people are in Iraq as part of this 'war'. I doubt I'll get a straight answer but I feel I should know. She's a Republican.

It seems that as the Republicans fear losing more eats and/or the Presidency, the nastier they get. I forget they seem to have the corner on the hate market, with the likes of Faux News and Ann Coulter just to name a few. Add to that allthe 'sunshine patriots' in the party and you can understand my distaste for all things Republican.
