As the story goes and the song extols,  this day marks a dark chapter in our history, where dissent became a crime punishable by death.  Four dead in Ohio.

Isn't it ironic that Ohio has become such a center for controversy since then? Isn't it also somewhat ironic that it is still the bastion of warped political thinking and power that tends to support the cause of the corrupt and immoral. I swear that Ohio would be the last place on earth I'd want to live.

Remember, Kent State and the four who died. That marked the beginning of the end of Nixon. May its memory bring forth the end of another president, George W. Bush.
It has started in Montana and will be coming to a town near you.  Be afraid, be very afraid. You can read more in this blog entry from my other site and in the linked article featured in that blog.
Lately I've decided that politcians need to hear what I think so I've added most of my representatives to my contact list on my cellular phone. I want to be the first to be recognized when my number comes up on their caller ID. With the country going to hell in a handbasket, there is no reason to be politically correct.  Let me be clear.

We don't live in a democracy.

Capitalism is not the answer.

Privacy is an urban myth.

Consumerism is the national religion.

90% of the citizens in this country are idiots.
This man is crazy... and he represents Orange County California, a Right Wing Republican Stronghold in the Democratic State of California...

and this is what he said....

and I repeat... we live in a democracy????
