On the anniversary of Kent State...
May. 4th, 2007 06:55 amAs the story goes and the song extols, this day marks a dark chapter in our history, where dissent became a crime punishable by death. Four dead in Ohio.
Isn't it ironic that Ohio has become such a center for controversy since then? Isn't it also somewhat ironic that it is still the bastion of warped political thinking and power that tends to support the cause of the corrupt and immoral. I swear that Ohio would be the last place on earth I'd want to live.
Remember, Kent State and the four who died. That marked the beginning of the end of Nixon. May its memory bring forth the end of another president, George W. Bush.
