Blackwater is a dirty little secret army that tries to keep a low profile, but lately they have been doing some things that have pissed off the Iraqis. What the United States government won't say is how many Blackwater mercenaries work in Iraq or how many people they have killed in their mission to keep State Department employees from harm. No, Blackwater is part of the offensive in Iraq, part of the surge, part of the war, part of the problem. They operate above and beyond the law and can kill with virtual immunity from any consequences for their actions.

When the Bushco regime decides to take out their enemies, it will probably be Blackwater doing the deed.
Tony Blair has a few more weeks in power, so he plans to make a police state out of Great Britain, all in the name of 'security'. It seems he wants a police state where anyone can be stopped and questioned without any suspicion of any crime being related to the stop. Hey, you look like a foreigner, so the police can stop you. It leaves Great Britain to be the one place (outside of a bunch of totalitarian regimes) where the police can question without a warrant, a reason, just on a whim. No Tony, I hope you see massive protests against your policies. I wonder, did Dubya suggest this one?
