Something from yesterday...

It seems that the Justice Department is now regulating religion... in the Federal Prison System.  Read this article and no matter what your faith, I hope you feel the outrage that a government that was establsihed for religious freedom would do such a thing.

 Every day I read the paper and realize that George Orwell was a prophet. What he wrote as fiction is becoming so clear today.  We don't have freedom, that was never part of the plan. We live to produce and consume, to slave and to buy, to rape and pillage, to fight war for the profiteers. I know it sounds depressing, but there is one thing  you can do.  We must educate all to the real principles of freedom, we must not tolerate corruption, and never vote for anyone who accepts war. 984 984

The lies...

 It is odd that we believe the we are going to withdraw troops from Iraq and this is a big deal. Wasn't it a few months ago when we added 30,000 troops to the number that were already there? Won't their rotation date (the date they supposed to return to the United States) actually coincide with the 'withdrawl date'. Do they really think we are that dumb? I guess we are with all the hype about this annoucement.

I guess you can fool 50% plus 1 vote most of the time, just look at who is in the Whitehouse. Remember, we get the government we deserve.
