It seems we have a government that is not the government we elected. We have  partisanship at its highest levels, we have corruption in all sectors, we have foreign governments having more sway on our policies than our own people.

I don't see a change if Hillary gets elected (and the Republican Dirty Trick Squad is hard at work to steal another one).  Obama would be perfect but the system won't allow that to happen.  We now have dynasties, the Bush's and the Clinton's. They have both sold their souls to the military/industrial/media complex and we will continue to suffer under the oppressive yoke of capitalism.

We have lost sight of what it is to be human, to practice human rights, to care.  I don't know if we need another age of enlightenment, it will surely come after these dark ages, but we need to start by actting locally to change toe character of our national government.

My wn thoughts are that I will not be voting for Barbara Boxer because I have not seen her do anything for me. Diane Fienstein is just as bad, she is more Republican than Democrat. Mary Bono seems more a moderate than her.

Now to work...
It is funny how Dubya is still fighting this elusive enemy and he's so
worried that they are constantly listening to what he might say. The
only time they listen to him is when they want to hear an idiot stumble
over simple grammar. Do they know we torture? Yes, they know we are the
one nation that still has a gulag, secret prisons, and uses torture
regularly.
