The morning commute...

Rain falling
Slick roads
To go fast, or not.

Music playing
wipers swishing
a little hydroplaning

Dark and shining
the road goes out before me
reflectors and reflections of the night

Some crash
brake lights beam
a bit more care expended

Safe at work
the homeless huddle
staying dry is priority one

Quiet

The only sound in the office is my keyboard and the fan in the ducting overhead......ah Friday.

our country is falling apart....

 I face this problem every day at work, streets that are in disrepair, water lines breaking, a lack of sufficient storm drains.
