It was wet, so the visit will be another day... but here is where I spent my Sunday drive time.

As I passed under this trestle I can only imagine what it is like with the train rumbling overhead. Soon....

I was investigating the railroad line through Carrizo Gorge and
discovered it was active. I had noticed a portable trailer and railroad
police office in Campo. All I wonder now is how close I can get to some
of the large trestles in Carrizo Gorge and not run afoul of the law. The
railway through Carrizo Gorge has spectacular tunnels and trestles.
The next excursion will probably be the Orange Empire Railway Museum in
Perris. I've been there before and taken a caboose ride on a steam
locomotive that was fun.

EDIT:

March 1st is their annual Railroadiana event, booths with everything for sale you can imagine and a lot of stuff to ride.

RE-EDIT:

This may be postponed as I got to do a lot of work around the place (el ranchito) and the weather seems ready to co-operate. I need to do some serious recycling and start on disposing of excess 'stuff'.
Ralph Nader..... 'unsafe at any speed' and unwanted in politics.

this is it...

Seems that when a hearing is about Comcast blocking certain content of the Internet, Comcast may have stooped so low as to have hired 'seat filler' to keep the public out of the hearing room and being heard.
