 At my desk...

Wishing for a vacation and I just might do that, take a  vacation of sorts. I casually remarked to my Mom that I was thinking of going on a trip to Maine to look around and to possibly buy a place. I'm giving it serious thought. No better time than a recession to go house shopping.

More thoughts...

A bit more relaxed today. The weather is growing milder, a little less freezing in the mornings. I could not help but notice the $3.47.9 cent gas this morning. Also, I found the added 99 cent ATM fee for use of a debit card a bit much. That will be the last time I buy Valero, it may be just that location as I have never paid a fee in the Ranch Mirage location. 

Mom turns 79 on Friday. I don't know how we'll celebrate but I have o do something to mark this milestone.
