Silly words sometimes just enter my head.  Took off work on Thursday, wasn't feeling just right, had a lot of job stress,  I wasted the day after driving all the way to work, I sort of slowly found my way home. I had nagging thoughts all the time. Should I have been at work, should I have been home caring for Mom?
Went shopping... got the 'new' dog a license. The coffee maker is indicating it has seen the end times, so I got to shop for a new one. Speaking of coffee, I purchased some coffee  from Vietnam. A full half kilo, vacuum sealed, and ground. I'll clean my French press and maybe try a cup next week at work.

Here's one for you  [personal profile] gracegiver     Do you have a picture of a 'movable point frog'? I was examining a photo I took and found a sign that had been knocked over ... I may post a picture later. Now I'll have to go back and get a picture of that switch.

Snow is in the forecast.  We had a taste of spring, and now they are calling for snow.

BTW... Mom turned 79 today.

Zoom in on the sign on the ground. Now to return and photograph the switch.

Since I've developed an interest in trains, I've had the occassion to notice more and more the occasional sighting of railroad police. When I took the road trip to Campo, the first trailer on the grounds of the museum was the offices of the railroad police. On Wednesday while driving north on the I-15, the 'rolling roadblock' that was slowing me down was nothing but a Union Pacific Railroad Police car driving in the middle lane at 65 mph. Keep an eye out for your railroad police. They are watching you....
The Feds bail out a bank... after a bank run. Is that the tip of the iceberg....  I can only hope that is not the truth. Shades of 1929. Thank you Dubya for your great economic policies. Thank you Conservatives for being so 'pro-deregulation'. It started with Reagan and will end with Bush... or McCain.... if the Hillary doesn't stop her race baiting.

This was the Elsinore Grand Prix, 1972.
