First we have Hezbollah taking control of Beirut, and soon taking control of Lebanon.  The whole world watches and expresses their displeasure. Then there is the junta in Myanmar who seized the U.N relief supplies all in the plan to control everything. So what f 1. million people starve? Hey, they still control 50+ million more. We have a dictator in Washington who stands in the way of progress and ending the other great war. There are times when it seems that the forces of evil are winning. It has been said and written that the end times will be full of strife, and trials and suffering. Maybe we are just at the beginning of end times, lets hope we can survive.

I'm going to the Antiques Roadshow!

I was just informed that I have been given two tickets to the Antiques Roadshow in Palm Springs. I now have to gather my two items for appraisal (I already have them picked out). The day is June 7th in Palm Springs.

The tickets have a set time when to enter and they don't want you there more than 30 minutes before. I think this will be a fun event.

The weekend is not to be planned. When Mom is present, nothing can happen that doesn't center around her, thus I look forward to returning to work.  She's 78, suffering from Parkinson's, a failing memory, and a lot of unfounded fears. As a depression child she has the old memories return, thus when she hears talk of economic downturns, she panics.
