sick....

It seems when some people are down and out they tend to blame those who have become targets because of the 'hate speech' of 'talk' radio. In this case, an unemployed, SUV driving, gun toting individual targeted a 'liberal' church because they were liberal and supported gays, the other group he hated. 

These kind of people rarely take a close look at their own lives and realize their problems are their own making.

a bit closer to the epicenter...

Just had a 5.8 magnatude in Chino Hills. Gave the workplace a good shake. Cel phones were the first to go out, but everything is okay on my part. Everything fine in Anza. Expecting quite a few aftershocks from tis one.

all is quiet... I hope...

One thing about earthquakes, you never know if what you felt is a fore shock or the earthquake itself. One earthquake can spawn thousands of aftershocks, and aftershocks can be equal to the original quake in intensity. 

The strongest I've ever felt was the Landers quake, I thought the condo I was in was going to come apart. This was a good shaker and my cube is located between two seismic braces, so I got a good ride.

I expect to have at least one more shake before I leave for home today.
