Made soup, ate soup. That was good. I've been contemplating what to do with my mulberries. I got all I need to make jam, just need the energy to do it.

I refilled the tank on the barbeque.

In other matter, was noticing my umbilical hernia was active, so a trip to the doctor is in the offing, and a discussion of a possible surgical intervention. That should put me out of action for a while (up to two weeks). When you are close to retirement as I am, you need to take care of all the medical problems while you still have good coverage.

I'm lazy today, had some rain last night and the wind outside is too cold to work out there. A few bills to pay, got to get a Sunday paper, do laundry, was dishes, do some cleaning, do some reading, organize stuff for Monday (yes I work Monday), and plan for Tuesday off. Its good that November is the month of days off.  Some time to recover some sanity.
Reading the 'local' paper I couldn't help but notice that the fundies and the homophobes are not liking the outcome of the election. These were pictures of people praying for the outcome of the election. They may have prevailed on Prop 8, but they lost their buddies in the White House. The homophobe, Jane Chastain, writes a column about the homosexual agenda, like she, is an authority on the subject. She is an example of the thinking in this par of Southern California. One more reason why I need to sell this place and get as far away from these 'christians' before its too late.

I wonder?

I wonder if Dick Cheney would vote for Proposition 8?
