Another day, hot again. Tomorrow I make the trek to visit my primary care physician. I know he'll want me to do a colonoscopy, that's a given. I'll get a referral to the ophthalmologist and the dermatologist, all for preventive care. Hey, if I'm going to be paying $425 a month for health insurance, I may as well get to use it, I want to live long enough to be a nuisance to someone.

Stars

Sitting on the deck to the sound of frogs talking, stars slowly appear as the sky darkens. The Milky Way isn't visible yet, but with a late moonrise it should appear. I enjoy the night outside, under the stars.

edit: Later, as the sky darkened, I saw several satellites pass over, and the Milky Way was starting to become that star-filled band of light across the sky.
