today...

Started with dog care and a run down the hill to get dog food. Then it was to the post office to collect the bills. Then at the keyboard reading about writing, auctions, and liability. Listening to the iPod, enjoying a blast once and a while when the fan goes my way. Read the local paper, and the Idyllwild Town Crier. Read Downeast Magazine too.Over 100 outside, too hot. Oh, and I broke the frames on one of my pair of glasses. Ugh, that will cost. Bills gathered and sorted. Time for a nap till it cools.

There is a certain candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates, a Catherine Crabill, who thinks that conservatives may have to resort to the 'bullet box' if they can't win at the ballot box....

Is this the new Republican Party?  The Republicans are not taking the loss to Obama well, they seem to think they can play to the nut case crowd to win a seat.

Another day of scorching heat.... spent the better part of the day providing for the dogs. Did some digging and found an old photo album, and will have to scan a few. I added a few more Cd's to my iTunes, now over 6145 songs.... I think it now time for the deck and a Samuel Adams...

Mulberrries

Got a good crop coming this year. I'll upload a picture or two later. Let's see, Mulberry jam, juice, jelly... they are messy to process, but the rewards are worth it.

If you look closely you'll see mulberries among the leaves... thy will turn almost black before harvest and be full of very tasty juice.
