Tesla is taking their roadster on tour to try to overcome 'range anxiety' the public perceives about plug in electric vehicles. In Anza, there are at least two home built electric cars, a Volkswagen Bug and a VW Rabbit pickup.... (I'll try to catch some pictures someday). Electric bikes are readily available,iZip being one of the better brands. There is a cheaper model of bike, an eZip, this is the lower priced version of iZip, the components of the bike are a bit cheaper, and locally they sell these at the local Pep Boys auto parts store.  The eZip site has a sale ongoing that offers some real bargains for the person looking to enter the era of electric vehicles.

Senator Inhofe's Big Adventure....

Senator Inhofe from the Party of No made a brief stop in Copenhagen at the conference n global warming to say a few words of discouragement. Of course the truth is no one there cared what he had to say. His brief two hour stay (I wonder how much his news conference cost us?) was to hold a news conference and return to his plane and fly home to Washington.

Faux news played this episode in  the Party of No's endgame as if people really cared about what he had to say, making it seem he was Daniel in the Lion's Den

I don't think anything concrete will come from Copenhagen, just some documents that will be debated and ignored, as the biggest contributors to global warming are not willing to do nothing more than create a money making scheme so the rich get richer and the poor stay poor. Yes, there needs to be something done, but you won't find any capitalist doing anything constructive.
