The weather gods have the jet stream heading to Southern California.... we are expecting a week with the potential of 20 inches of rain.  Snow level should stay above 6000 feet, so when this all clears I'll have a snow capped vista to photograph.
The day was unusually warm. I saw 78 degrees in Temecula. I was down there looking at cameras. I'm thinking of upgrading my 'point and shoot' and disposing of most of my film cameras. Anyone use older Nikon lenses?

Stop at swapmeet and see what is offered... shop for a camera (I'll have one... or more... for sale soon).... buy a lotto ticket... get in supplies for the coming storm... I'll be on the road today...

Went to my 'mailbox' and picked up my W-2 for retirement, still have to get one from the union and one from the employer. Working on getting my Social Security started. Next to buy tax software, and start the process. Next week during the stormy period I'll service my truck, new shocks, and two new tires. Then an oil change, maybe new wiper blades, and get the alignment (I have a lifetime alignment).

Also, bought my new 'point and shoot', and a new lens for my Canon 30D. More details later. Anyone interested in a Sony H5?
Bought a Canon Powershot SX20is .... this will be my new point and shoot. I do like the fact that this camera still uses AA batteries, it was what made the difference between this model and the Nikon P90. I'll try, even with the bad forecast, to find time to grab a few shots. Now to dispose of the Sony H5....
