It seems that every day I discover something about our government that appalls me. It seems that we have a government that has no honor, no morals, and does not truly represent us. We've lost it people, it now belongs to the forces of darkness and evil. We murder, we torture, we kill, we poison, we pollute, we steal, and all the while proclaiming it is the 'American Way'...

We need a rebirth, we need to care. This was a country that was founded as a democracy, an the concept was that this was to be a government, of, by and for the people. Now, as the people, we need to take it back. We need to vote, we need to write, we need to call, we need to let our voices be heard, we need to be citizens. I have both my Senators and my Congressperson on speed dial in my cell phone.  We need to act, and sometimes act out.

When you hear about injustice, speak out. When you learn of something you feel is not right, speak out. But, don't forget, when you see something done right, speak out too.  Let your voice be heard.

Let us take our government back.
There seems to be a newfound interest in deficits... they worry about the cost of some things but ignore others. War is costing us more than $708 billion, yet they fret over the cost of healthcare.   We worry because we know it is us, the little people, who will pay for it. What do the people need?

p.s. Don't let fear decide for you... war is not going for any living thing.
Saturday.... visited Dudley's Bakery in Santa Ysabel for some bearclaws, an apple turnover, and some Louisiana Maple Pecan bread... today I went stove shopping... and visited my Apple Store... those are the highlights... there were lowlights, but I'll ignore them...
