sunday morn...

The sky isn't so bright as a storm supposed to be here tonight. The air has a spring feel to it, just was out to feed the dogs. Was just reading a story on NPR and then found a blog. This I will share.... Its a good story, and a good thing to try. I've always been a fan of paying it forward, and after the de-clutter operation is done I'll be sending stuff to people who can use it. I need to do a bit of research this morning, then may go shopping. Have a wonderful day!

car dealers...

Today I stopped at a car dealer to see what the market looks like, and having dealt with Saturn dealers for years, I can say that the experience leaves a lot to be desired. You get a run around, so I started playing hardball. I looked at a car and said what is the least you'd take for it... then the sales person culdn't answer, so I told him to find me the person who could. I eventually walked and had the head honcho chasse me down. Then he wanted to know what I was looking to spend, I told him that once he quoted me a price, then II'd decide if I wanted to proceed. I didn't buy a car, but decided that I'll shop somewhere else. I may go back to one of the online buying services, let them deal with the dealers.
