An excursion to Santa Ysabel, a trip up Mt. Palomar, taking time, enjoying the view, exploring the countryside, seeing Lake Henshaw and thinking that it is time to go Crappie fishing. Just read a story of the moving of the mirror for the Hale telescope at Palomar in San Diego City Beat, so I had to visit. Mt Palomar State Park is in  sorry state, a fire a few years back damaged it, and the state budget doesn't help either. The trip home through orange groves, pass nursery operations, indian casinos, and old missions finished the day.
