The sun hasn't shown itself yet. There are clouds all around and in the distance I can see rain, although it may be evaporating before it reaches the earth,  It was hot yesterday, in the high 90s with humidity near 80 percent. Monsoon weather is what they call it..

Today will be hot too, one reason I'm up so early, going to try to cool the house down and try to keep it that way.

Maybe it will become a beach day. I'll never live so far from the beach again.

so far a good day....

The day started with a trip to the beach and a bike ride around Del Mar including the Scripps Bluff area.. There was a triathlon going on in Carlsbad, so Coast Highway was closed for quite a distance. I reluctantly left the beach and made my way home, very tired.  On my way home bought a "kid hauler" trailer for a bike for a whole $5. This will become a project to haul my fishing tackle and other stuff when I go to Lake Hemet and decide to fish down by the dam. I can attach this to the mountain bike and ride along the shore road to my spot with cooler, chair, and tackle box in tow.
