Where is the Edward R. Murrow of this era?

We have a new McCarthyism, personified by Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin. The media is being played by these purveyors of fear and lies, and the public, fed by this fear, takes up the cry of the false prophets of doom. Are we witnessing another era of witch hunts? Is this 'patriot' movement nothing more than a prelude to an era of fascism? Is the Tea Party a new Nazi Party? I search for the new Edward R. Murrow....
