Where we go from here...

Today I mentally disarmed a Republican.. he was sitting next to me and made some smart remark about government handouts... I casually asked what he considered 'handouts'? He started by saying Social Security... when I asked him about his retirement.. he said he had some put away in an IRA,, and I asked him if that was going to be enough... he said he didn't think so... then I said you should be happy you've paid into Social Security so you can afford to buy pet food to keep you from starving. He then said something about reducing the deficit and I said if Bush had not been out to rule the world we wouldn't have the deficit we have today...and added that because of the economic mess Bush created the terrorists have won. He gave up and left. The person a few tables away applauded.

playing with toys....

Playing with a new toy, an item I got at a thrift store in Encinitas. Its a video camera by Oregon Scientific that I can mount on the bike ans shoot video.  It is shock proof and water proof and shoots AVI format in 640X480 at 30 frames per second.  A sample will follow as soon as I upload and  process it.
