How Democracy Died...

It seems we have been going down a slippery slope for decades, and now it has become evident that democracy has suffered a painful death as we find ourselves living in a country where the government is of the rich, by the rich, for the rich... the rest of us be damned. There is no light at the end of the tunnel, that is an oncoming train, ready to ruin the rest of what we cherish and plunge us into the role of being serfs to the oligarchs.

Obama caves..

While Obama sounded good, and he did get a few good items of his agenda passed, I don't see him being reelected. There is a need for a real peoples candidate, someone who can speak to the people and inspire them, and more than just speak, can actually create change and hope.

Here is another article about Obama's style and how we are in for possibly a very rough ride. It is noted that the progressive wing of the party has now started a campaign to kill the compromise... although when Congress is dominated by millionaires, you don't get much sympathy for the working man.
