Man arrested in Pakistan had CIA ties...

No surprise here... every embassy of every coutry has intelligence operatives on the payroll. It is all part of the unwritten rules of the spy game. During the cold war I was in Berlin. It was a cat and mouse game between Russia, East Germany, Britain, France, and the United States. We had various 'missions' related to embassies that would drive around, taking pictures, gathering intelligence, and both sides played the game. Sometimes the stakes would get raised and someone would be hurt or killed, it was all part of the game. No "James Bond" types, just military and ex-military types, well trained, well equipped, and constantly on the move. Fast cars, and fast cameras, always trying to stay one step ahead of a countries defenders. Most had some sort of diplomatic cover story, and sometimes their actions would result in some form retaliation or 'prisoner exchanges'. All part of the spy game, that secret world that really runs the world, politicians be damned.

I haven't traveled for a while...

... but I wonder if I'm on a list. I have some things in my background that got me an large FBI file and that also included travel restrictions for a few years after I left the military. I had no problems when I last flew in 1998, but times have changed. I would be pissed if this happened.... but considering how our freedoms are eroding, I know that this is more likely to occur today than at any time in the past.  We are moving towards a fascist state, one where citizens are but pawns in a game, and other aspects of live closely resemble life in Orwell's 1984. Oh well, I remember being free, they haven't taken that from me yet... but will they.

A new astro turf group in the battle of wisconsin

I get regular emails from the right (I keep a close eye on the enemy) and just got one from the League of American Voters, another front group that seems to have ties to ALEC, the group that lobbies on the state level and is responsible fpr most of the right wing laws you see the Republicans produce. So, take a look and be on the lookout for this group to start producing biased material to influence our piss poor media.

This is one more reason that demonstrates that our freedom is in peril, and is quite possibly another Koch brothers front group.

1984 is alive and well in Madison

Seems the State of Wisconsin has blocked internet access to a web site critical of Walker's actions.. read this and think who else has used this tactic,, Mubarak???

The right has declared war, we need the help of Anonymous... I want to see the emails and financial records of Scott Walker open to the world I want to see his phone numbers, address, and any and all of his life open to the world, he needs to be made to crawl back under a rock.
