Everyone in the lower 98% of the earning curve is hurting. Then we have the cost of 'national security', which when you look at the true cost, is $1.2 Trillion a year....

bike stuff...

Today I'll work and do some more bike maintenance.. got some tires to mount and a couple of bikes to start breaking down. I'll strip the Specialized to repaint and do some work on the Diamondback as that becomes the framework of my cargo bike. I'll take some pictures along the way, as the camera will be always ready. I may take another bike ride or two around my neighborhood, mostly dirt roads, so thus I use my mountain bikes. I do have to start using my two road bikes, as the urge to ride fast is still there, and both are equipped for climbing, with thriple chain rings upfront.

I have a bunch of stuff I should do, but I want to do a little of what I want to do...

.... but I should clean out the truck and get some things ready to haul...

went to the desert today...

Went looking for flowers, but spring is just getting started... it needs to be warmer, before the desert blooms. BTW, temperatures were in the 70's....

This picture is looking back towards Coyote Canyon, and Clark Dry Lake...back towards where I live.

Time to start the drive to restore the 55 mph speed limit nationwide

This is what we need to do to conserve energy.... of course there will be a lot of people crying about travel taking longer... but they are also the ones who cry about gas prices...the result will be fuel savings, lives saved, and less road rage.
