junk calls...

Was sitting here listening to Pandora when a 'junk call' came in... someone appealing for money for California Police Youth Charities, I wouldn't donate to any group associated with police charities ever because most of these groups are nothing more than scams and rarely do any more than 10% of the funds solicited ever save a kid from a life of crime.  Must be the season to find suckers ... my brother in law is a retired cop and he and his fellow officers hated these groups using the name of law enforcement to solicit funds.
