Why I won't be living in Maine for a while...

Yes, Maine elected a new governor based on the premise that all parties can be on the ballot and the candidate that garners the highest percentage wins.... so the new governor did not win by a landslide, not even a majority. Thus corporate america was able to find their man and after making sure he said the right things and had plenty of money for advertising, the dumb electorate believed his lies and he is now governor.

Well they are getting their moneys worth now, as he rolls back decades of consumer and environmental laws. This article says it all, corporatism at it best, he makes the governor of Wisconsin look smart even though the governor of Wisconsin is an ass.
