This is something to consider..
Apr. 14th, 2011 10:33 pmThose self righteous Republican members of Congress always seem to believe the are compassionate.. most are very religious, mostly Christian... however they need a reminder and I found it courtesy of Sojourners Magazine ... here is a passage from God's Politics a blog by Jim Wallis...
Doom to you who legislate evil, who make laws that make victims -- laws that make misery for the poor, that rob my destitute people of dignity, exploiting defenseless widows, taking advantage of homeless children. What will you have to say on Judgment Day, when Doomsday arrives out of the blue? Who will you get to help you? What good will your money do you? (Isaiah 10:1-3, The Message)
I do hope they understand this message... and consider it when they vote on Paul Ryan's budget proposal.

bike stuff....
Apr. 14th, 2011 11:42 pmI was looking around the other day and found a better bike for my basic cargo bike, so now I will have to fix and gift two bikes... an '85 vintage Diamondback Mean Streak and an old (89) Specialized Rockhopper Comp... they won't be pretty but they will work well... so tomorrow I'll spend the day working on bikes, mostly to clear the barn and get my motorcycle out so I can think of selling it. Got to get it cleaned up, and running. The weather supposed to be excellent this weekend, so ride time.
Yes, I have too many bikes, I don't need a motorcycle.
