the next Congressional meltdown..

If and when the current crisis is resolved (welcome to the Great Depression II, brought to you by the Tea Party) we face another hurdle.. the gas tax is expiring on September 30th... at least some gas taxes. So, I don't expect Congress to be able to pass an extension and thus our infrastructure crumbls more...

exports are up...

 Jobs that is.. seems Sempra Energy wants to export jobs to Mexico.... and it could mean 15,000 people out of work or jobs not created, and this is for 'green energy projects' .. here is an article in a union newsletter..... as it won't appear in the mainstream media... Posted on Dreamwidth

an interesting article

Deepak Chopra on Obama...  he says in these times when the inmates are running the asylum.. we need him. Probably true, but I'm wondering if we do have a world wide economic crash, what are the conservatives going to say? Are we going to see the Tea Party want to overthrow the government? 

What I fear is the panic when the public realizes that they have lost it all....I can see banks, government offices, etc.. in flames. Anarchy will be the new normal...are we ready for a total breakdown of civilized society? Are we going to have a civil war?
