something about community

A friend in Georgia sent me a link to a farm near her that is starting an interesting concept... farming as part of a ministry. You can look at their website and see how it is done, and think how it can be adapted to your area.  


This is a way for people to help people plus provide people some skills in making their life much better. Of course you have to be willing to get your hands dirty and help others.

why you are not too old to ride a bike..

How about setting a record at 100 years old? That just happened when a French cyclist set a new speed record for people his age... and he didn't start riding a bike till he was 78! Posted on Dreamwidth

warm..

A pleasant change from the last few days, no clouds, no real wind, and plenty of sun. I have been working in the barn and just stepped back in the house for a break. Oh, and here is a picture of my poor motorcycle... it needs a new home.
