pick your poison

Seems as we approach another election it is the same problem, we get the choice of the lesser of two evils or vote third party. I've been doing a lot of thinking lately and I find I have lost faith with our system. It is corrupt, it threatens us all, and it is nothing more than a fascist state as was Italy before world war II. We vote but we don't get to vote for a president. Our president (Obama) believes that he has tje right to spy on you, kill you, or throw you in prison without due process...he has signed executive orders or legislation to 'make' it legal.  It is a choice of Romney who will be the president of wall street, or Obama who will just let wall street keep running their fraudulent schemes till we are all slaves. By election day I may be effectively 'homeless', so I may not be able to vote anyway, however I have been voting absentee for a decade, so I may have a ballot. I may miss this election... I won't miss much, whoever gets elected will be just one more corporate pawn, who will baffle the people with bullshit, make promises he won't keep, and screw us at every turn. As a liberal I've always wanted a progressive president, but I will never see one, not in this country. We, as a people, are making a sharp right turn. Racism is playing a role this election, no doubt. This is the final act before the complete corporate coup takes place. Civil disobedience will be a criminal act, there will be a lot of people sent to prison. The First Amendment has been effectively repealed, they have been carving out exceptions where there are none in the Constitution. The Second amendment will be disappearing soon, they will say it only applies to government, you will have to give up your guns. Hey, they cannot enslave us if we are armed. The Fifth Amendment is being dismantled by the courts. The Constitution will disappear. We live in a world where perpetual war for natural resources will be the norm.  Welcome to the new world order, the start date will be January 2013. With the inauguration of the new president, this country will cease to be the land of the free, forget the brave part, the people have been dumbed down and brainwashed into submission.
