I'm working on my taxes. I've been talking to the IRS. It seems that getting a straight answer from the IRS is like pulling teeth. Tomorrow I will visit a tax assistance center to try for answer. Then I will start working on part 1 of my tax odyssey. My personal income taxes will be simple, after I get the trust taxes done. I now realize why the tax person I talked to wanted $1000 up front to do the tax forms. I'll muddle through and submit something I think is right. I figure the IRS will not hesitate to let me know if I made a mistake. By then a few months will have passed and I should find the tax preparer free to do my taxes. Procrastination only adds to the problem. No, I don't want to discuss this, I'm just ranting.
