I guess I'm becoming an old curmudgeon. I'm that only old man that complains all the time. I'm finding this political season is not making me happy. People clamoring for change but what they don't realize is it isn't going to happen. Change does not come from the top. Change comes from the bottom up. I don't care how good a leader you are if Congress doesn't want to do anything it isn't going to happen. And Congress isn't going to change because so many States have Jeremy gerrymandered congressional districts to such an extent that the incumbent can never be voted out. Our system of government is broken. It is broken beyond repair. Some of the people have just woken up from the American dream and discovered it was a nightmare. The are the ones supporting candidates like Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders. Then there is the remaining sheeple. They're still drinking the Kool Aid that they get from the idiot box and believing the lies they are told. They are the majority. This is one of my pet peeves about our government. Don't get me started on what is wrong with society, I could write an encyclopedia on that.

I follow a few artists online both here and on Facebook. It is interesting how the creative mind is also the same mind that's some consider crazy. My observations are the lot of artists as seeking understanding of their vision. In some cases there are cries out seeking help. In other cases there art seeks recognition. I try to be supporting in either case. I guess you have to know rejection, loneliness, and being unloved to understand them at times.
