They say freedom isn't free. But freedom can be lost various ways. It can be given away bit by bit for false promises of safety and security by those in power. It can be taken by despots and demagogues through law and edicts. But it can be list quickly by living in fear and not defending it. We must be vigilant. We must not let our freedoms be taken by those who marshal the ignorant and weak as their minions and use mass hysteria and false patriotism to trample our freedom.
