It seems that the war on terror has caused a tear in the moral fabric of our troops. A recent survey by the Army found that most troops would condone torture or mistreatment of civilians if they thought it might save another soldier's life. Ethics has become something that takes the back seat in our fighting, as we have become the animals we are fighting. We no longer have a moral high ground and now find ourselves down in the mire and muck with the likes of our 'enemy'.
