I, too, hope those nation's corporations and governments punish the government of Burma; but since they're making obscene amounts of money by dealing with the Burmese government they're not going to do anything apart from pretending to be indignant.
Our very own Dubya really put the hammer down on the Burmese government, didn't he? Imagine: No U.S. visas for junta leaders! Golly, that'll get them thinking "democratic reforms" for sure.
