Seems the Democrats were so afraid of a shutdown they allowed the Republicans to gut the EPA , cut funding for HIV/AIDS, and zero'd out the high speed rail funds.
So I wonder if we have anyone representing the people in Washington? Now we must vote out the Republican majority in the house and spend the years from 2012 to 2014 reversing all the damage wrought by the Republicans... so when looking at the 2012 candidates, ask this question... will you restore the EPA? .. will you restore healthcare? ... do you believe in science or dogma? Know who you are voting for.
