Fall weather has arrived. It s almost cool enough to start a fire but being I'm not prepared, I'll wait till daylight and find some kindling to get the oak burning.
The woodstove we own is a modern one, that completely burns the wood and no sparks go up the chimney, it doesn't even smoke when its burning properly. It burns clean enough to meet EPA specs for woodstoves. It is by a company 'Century'.
My brother keeps telling me we should investigate this. I keep holding on to our old-fashioned one, since they aren't even legal in new homes here anymore.
Maybe this will be the year we invest in change. Century!!
