If you are waiting to vote after work, be prepared to stand in line for hours. But, stand in line anyway, as this election is very important .....Vote...vote...vote.

If you don't make the effort to vote, I pity you. You may be the reason we have the kind of government we have now. In that case, how dare you call yourself a citizen.

I voted after work and I was in and out in about 5 minutes. It would have been even less time, but I chatted for a couple of minutes with the poll workers.

I get out of work at 3:45 so I was at the poll at 4:20. There was no one ahead of me. I was prepared for a long line. I even brought a book with me. I also brought all sorts of ID. Everything went perfectly smoothly. It was the shortest time I ever spent voting and I've been voting for a very long time.

On the other hand, I no longer live in Manhattan, but Astoria in Queens. It's still NYC, but the population density is much lower.

Whatever...voting was a breeze. Now to see the results come in. Here's hoping.
