I read the New York Times online daily and always marvel how many 'sexual assaults' are committed by NYPD. While most officers are probably honorable (despite the "code of silence" that pervades law enforcement), there seems to be a sadistic bunch who enjoy assaulting anyone who makes them work up a sweat.

Three more officers were indicted today

I remember this video of a bicyclist 'assaulted' by NYPD during a Critical Mass Bicycle ride... this officer got his hand slapped. The rider got the charges dismissed but the PBA says the officer was just 'doing his job'.

I guess this is just a day when I'm fed up with people using the badge to abuse people and act like thugs.
