This was the dawn on the 18th. My Saturn was stuck about 1/2 mile away near the end of the pavement. I had hiked in the 1/2 mile in the cold and dark, finally making it home by 8:30 p.m. There was about 18 inches of snow on the ground and temps were in the 20's.

Maine is a bit better at snow removal and the people are a bit more experienced at dealing with snow...

That is Southern California at 4000 feet... looks like we are going to have a real winter... time to shop for one cheap 4X4...
