Short walk on a long pier..

Just returned from an escape from boredom. I stopped at my local market, got some stuff to make dinner and something to drink (orange juice and diet coke, no I don't mix them), bought a house blend Starbucks, got a senior discount on that, sometimes gray hair does count for something. I cruised over to Seal Beach, found a parking spot near the pier, grabbed the Starbucks and took a stroll.
It is nice to see the cultural diversity that enjoys the pier. You had all nationalities fishing, many foreign tongues being spoken by passers by, you saw the poor, the middle class, and those who appeared to have money, all strolling along, enjoying the surf and sand. We are having unusual weather, overcast, humid, but not too warm.
Now to explore some things on the net, pay a few more bills, and relax.
