We got a few sprinkles, maybe rain later. Watching and waiting to see change. Some change has arrived but I wonder how much will trickle down to local government? We need it, boy do we need it. Things like transparency, open government, working in the best interest of the people, not your campaign donors.

OOOoh.

Obama's been in office TWO FULL DAYS now.

He should have been able to change EVERYTHING in just 48 little hours. Forget the next 4 years.

If everything hasn't been fixed YET, then he's useless and worthless as President. We should have elected Cynthia McKinney. Or John McCain.

After all, that's what FOX NEWS and Rush Limbaugh are saying, right?

He's doing pretty good for the first few days, and as for Fox News, they have to keep those talking heads employed don't they. I just wish I'd see some change occur locally too. Ethics is not a strong point in local government. I really like the closing of Guantanimo and the 'secret CIA prisons'... now the CIA will have to haul their suspects to Bagran...

*wry* I'm glad you caught on to the extreme sarcasm I was using.

There were people who pretty much said that since nothing had happened in the US yet, nothing would and that it would be same old same old.

Yeah, after 2 days? One of which was taken up by partying?

As for change locally... why not start asking for it and working for it?

Change will not happen on its own. Nor was Mr. Obama elected to POTUS on his own.
