curmugeon | Did we celebrate freedom..????

First things first, I didn't attend any July 4th festivities because I could not get into the war mongering fervor that seemed to surround most events this year.

Then, as I read the news, I see links to articles where peace was censored out of the celebration because it wasn't safe to advocate peace.

Today I'm just getting ready to return to my regular work schedule, the beaches will be crowded as the people inland invade the sand and surf to seek relief from the heat.

Back to doing my 'things', just finished laundry, now for some shopping (got to support our consumer society), maybe I'll get around to installing some stuff apartment. I still have to do some rearranging.
