curmugeonIn the office after my pre-op appointment. I don't think they were prepared for me to take a week off to recover. I can get two weeks if I need it as per the doc.
Unusually warm, somewhat damp. Got more propane, as I ran out yesterday. Thank God for woodstoves. Just glanced at Rolling Stone, Sunset, and Outdoor Photographer magazines.
I'm about ready to drop 21st Century Insurance for someone else. I can't see supporting AIG after they fleeced the taxpayers. Paying a bit more to a better corporation is worth it.
Sunset had some very good stuff this month, bicycles, great small towns, Persian New Year in Los Angeles.
