Post-weekend...

It's that time, time to be reflective, introspective, etc.
The weekend started with a long drive on a Friday night. I was dead tired after the trip. Spent the next day recovering from the lack of sleep. Spent most the day discovering what the mystery of the barn holds.
Finally started my drive back about dusk. How does a drive along dark two lane blacktop country roads sound? How does it sound when you have a California Highway Patrol unit riding your bumper for 30 miles?
Finally got home and entered the apartment at 3 a.m. I was out late having too much fun listening to a bar band who have a steel guitar player who could play most any request. A lot of memories flashed back over a few Budweisers. Some of the Indian Casino lounge acts aren't too bad.
Today was a work day, hard to get started, but made it to the office by 11 a.m. and was out of there by 3 p.m. Working on building up some compensatory time off to offset what I use on vacation.
Listening to music on my new dvd player, so far Lisa Marie Presley, presently Madonna, next will be Tori Amos. Sort of a mellow mood.
