I've been off since the 9th, and have had my share of adventures and memories to savor for the next six months. I wonder what is in store for me when I return to my humble cubicle tomorrow? I have at least one project that probably will go to bid immediately, another project that I have to get off the ground very quickly. I have to interview and staff some positions to do a survey of sidewalk conditions within the city. I have GASB 34 data to prepare. I have to face a short budget and short staff.

I'll also take time off on Friday to visit my doctor for a annual check up and to discuss some things that I've noticed lately. I'll have an eye appointment in a few weeks to get new glasses.

I need to do more work in Anza, getting ready for winter. I need to make arrangements for my Mom's care.

All will take place in due time. The following days will be busy, but I'll take care of business.

I'm glad you had some time off to recover from your journey.

Yes, a rest, but never enough. I now have to be sure to wake up tomorrow and not hit the snooze alarm again and again. It will be an interesting day tomorrow.
