We have had our election and the corporations won (except in a few cases in California). If there was ever a reason for California to secede from the United States, last night was one. Up until this point we have had a dysfunctional federal government, and that will not change. We are in need of another political party, and I don't think that the Tea Party (the wacko wing of the Republican/National White People's Party) is the answer.
We could solve a lot of problems if we ended these wars, we could solve a lot of problems of we had a government of, by, and for the people. But we don't. You will see back biting, investigations, impasse and rancor will rule the day, and I hope enough people will get angry, very angry, and start thinking about change. We need election reform, but we are many years away from that and the corporations are not going to give up their power without a bloody fight. Guess its time for anther Weather Underground and a few more Monkey Wrench Gang to make corporate amerika hurt.
The only thing I have to say now to the Republicans, ever try to herd cats? You are going your chance to try, as the crazies are going to make your task of governing very difficult.
This makes me think that moving to Canada might not be as bad.

Although some Canadians complain that their health care isn't very good.
