Before the sunrise temps here were in the teens... very cold. Spent the better part of yesterday at home, paying bills, reading some back issues of magazines I had on my desk. Last night I made a trip to La Jolla to close a deal I found on Craigslist to get some bike parts to finish one project bike.
The drive down was pleasant, I left before dark and took the coast route, old Highway 101. Beach towns in winter are lonely places after dark. Thankfully I am more than familiar with the streets, thus I was able to navigate, using my trusty Garmin in the car. Navigation systems make travel so much easier. If I have an address I can find it.
Today I leave this morning to get some work done on the Versa and to start thinking of new tires, as I want better wet weather control and the ability to handle a light snow. I have a feeling this winter is not going to be easy.
